Researchers have added hearing loss to the list of disorders that may beset children born to women who abuse alcohol while pregnant. Thirteen of 14 children with fetal alcohol syndrome studied were found to have a history of hearing problems, said researchers from Wayne State University in Detroit and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
