Six months ago, Steven Lively was a hero at Merrill Lynch.
Yesterday, he felt like an outcast.
Lively, a 6-foot-5-inch, 260-pound former Boston College
fullback who in April tackled and subdued a fellow worker charged
with gunning down his boss, yesterday charged his employers with
racial discrimination in a complaint filed with the Massachusetts
Commission Against Discrimination.
"This is an emotional time for me now," the 30-year-old black
stockbroker said yesterday. "I've asked for help. They've given me
scorn."
