Josephine Reynolds "Jo" Dudley, 80, a four-year resident of Annapolis, died of complications from surgery Sept. 30 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Mrs. Dudley was born March 16, 1927, in Clinton, N.C., where she graduated from high school. She attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland.

She worked as an administrative assistant for promotions and educational services at the National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C., for 23 years.
