Article: Salvage yard's owners apply for permit

Town of Kewaskum officials and two brothers who operate a salvage yard there have reached a resolution in a feud that has generated hundreds of citations and a lawsuit, lawyers in the case said Thursday.

The town sued Donald and David Stern in August for operating Don's Salvage Yard at 3350 E. Moraine Road without a conditional use permit. That was followed by a weekly torrent of citations (now totaling 114) from the town against each brother and their wives, each calling for a forfeiture of $375.
