A funeral Mass will be said Thursday for James Edward
McMahon, a retired employee of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation
Authority, at 9 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church in Winter Haven, Fla.
Mr. McMahon died yesterday of Parkinson's disease in his home
in Winter Haven. He was 69.
Born and educated in Dorchester, Mr. McMahon worked for the
MBTA for 35 years and retired in 1980.
Mr. McMahon served in the Army Air Corps in World War II
