educated guess. Writing about horses calls for the use of a full
range of qualifiers.
Sunday Silence is as good as Easy Goer. He has proven that
with his victories in the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes.
If Sunday Silence beats Easy Goer again in the Belmont Stakes and
wins the Triple Crown, it can be said that he is better.
One of the major reasons Easy Goer was rated higher than
Sunday Silence going into the Derby was that he was the superior
2-year-old. Easy Goer won the Grade I Cowdin and the Grade I
