For 31 years, Gruenewald has been manufacturing whipped cream-making machines for restaurants, food service companies and ice cream shops. To his customers he is Mr. Whipped Cream, having served up more than 25,000 machines and having earned 15 patents.

But like many inventors, the challenge remains to build a better invention.
