SUGAR BABIES -- A production of the Broadway musical at the
South Shore Music Circus, Wednesday night.
COHASSET - Burlesque lived, albeit fitfully, in a one-night
production of the Broadway musical "Sugar Babies" Wednesday night
at the South Shore Music Circus.
The production featured the venerable comedy team of Phil Ford
and Mimi Hines, perhaps best known as guests on the old Jack Paar
"Tonight" show.
They were aided and abetted by an energetic supporting cast,
which helped them reprise with some skill such antique sketches as
"Meet Me 'Round the Corner," one of the most famous of all bits,
and such lesser-known routines as "The Little Red Schoolhouse" and
"The Court of ...
