THE SPORTS SECTION -- In concert at the Club Casino, Friday
night.
HAMPTON BEACH, N.H. - Several times Friday night, the handsome,
rangy singer with the charcoal voice surveyed the Club Casino's
overhanging, private "luxury boxes" and noticed some TVs beaming
brightly. Finally, he couldn't help himself. "Which ballgame are
they watching up there?" he queried. "You gotta either turn it off
or tell us the score." Apparently, someone made a move to do the
polite thing, which shocked the singer. "Don't turn it off!" he
implored. He even came back to it during the encore: "The score? As
soon as you find out, will you tell us?"
The band was the Sports Section and the singer was Huey ...
