WORCESTER - Holy Cross finished off the '80s at Fitton
Field yesterday and could have run up that many points against the
hapless and hurtin' Northeastern Huskies.
However, being a charitable and religious insitution, Holy
Cross kept it to 46-13, although it could have been worse. How much
worse?
"I felt like I was out there with my pants down," said NU
coach Paul Pawlak, "You know, exposed."
Holy Cross standouts Joe Segreti (10 carries, 64 yards, 2
TDs), quarterback Tom Ciaccio (12 of 14, 182 yards, 2 TDs) and his
crew of primary receivers all sat down in the first half as the
Crusaders cruised to their eighth victory in nine games.
