BUFFALO, N.Y. - Only a year ago, New Kids on the Block were an opening act for a Boston Garden date starring the Pointer Sisters and Jeffrey Osborne. Today they're a national obsession and have two singles in this week's Top 10 -- the first act to do that since Madonna in 1984.
