Lt. Gov. Evelyn Murphy is expected to launch a two-week
advertising blitz today with two television spots aimed at several
hundred uncommitted delegates to the state Democratic convention.
Campaign manager Mark Longabaugh would not reveal the content
of the two ads -- one 60 seconds and one 30 seconds -- except to
say that "I think you'll find it is by far the best stuff that's
been on the air so far."
Sources indicate the ads will run through May 7 on all three
Boston channels, as well as in the Springfield and Providence
television markets.
Murphy is the third of the four candidates for governor to
