of the Chargers is right, the 49ers should have things well in hand
by then. San Francisco has been an 18- to 20-point favorite for two
weeks. The National Football Conference champions seem destined to
become pro football's first team with five Super Bowl titles,
breaking their tie with Pittsburgh and Dallas.
