He's no longer fabulous freshman Joe Smith, or sophomore sensation
Joe Smith. He's simply Joe Smith, first-team all-American. Joe Smith,

Field House has been open for business a long time, but the old barn
hasn't seen many performances like the one Smith laid on Virginia
last night: 29 points, 21 rebounds, 7 blocked shots, 3 steals. As
silly as it may sound, his play was better than the numbers tell you.
