Robert Parish of the Boston Celtics was in court, not on one,
yesterday, and it wasn't because of contract negotiations. The
marathon bargaining session, with lawyers holding closed-door
conferences and ducking in and out of phone booths, was to
determine if a settlement would be reached in Parish's divorce case
or if it would go to trial. At 2:30 p.m., the 7-foot guard
(CORRECTION: CENTER OF ATTENTION / In yesterday's column, 7-foot
Celtics center Robert Parish was referred to as a guard. The
Celtics obviously have needed a point guard the past few years but
