A recent survey shows that not only do we like microwave ovens,
those ovens are becoming an increasing part of our everyday lives.
The Campbell Microwave Institute in Camden, N.J., says it
interviewed more than 300 female heads of households this past
August and found:
- More than 90 percent reported they are "extremely" or
"very" satisfied with their microwaves, and no one in the study
said she was "not too" or "not at all" satisfied.
- The microwave not only is one of their favorite household
appliances, it is second only to the refrigerator.
- On average, women use their microwave ovens 77 times per
month, or 2.6 times a day.
