The New Kids on the Block have been absurdly successful -- 32
million albums sold and a concert fee that's up to a reported
$125,000 per night. But they've also reached a crucial point where
they can admit their mistakes, not just count their successes.
"The one thing we regret is the merchandising," singer Joe
McIntyre says from his Jamaica Plain home. "It did get out of hand.
It makes you look like you're too commercial."
"But now we've stopped a lot of that," adds McIntyre, whose
group headlines the Worcester Centrum tomorrow through Sunday.
