Everyone asks the same question: "Where do you get the things you
use in the photographs, and where do you keep them all?" The truth
of the matter is, most of them are borrowed from stores or from
friends, and the rest (many of which are flea-market bargains and
inexpensive pieces I find in Filene's Basement) I store in a
cupboard at the photographer's studio. The clever stylist, after
all, isn't a world-class shopper but a world-class schlepper.
Nothing is too big or too bulky or too much trouble to buy and
carry home, wrapped in my own coat, if need be. Here, then, are
