Article: Patriots unveil new logo, uniforms

In their ongoing drive toward credibility, respectability and, it is hoped, success, the Patriots yesterday selected the posh Four Seasons Hotel as the venue to launch their merchandising march into the 1990s.

The team's new logo, part Elvis and part Old Man of the Mountain, was officially unveiled, as were the new uniforms, modeled by linebacker Andre Tippett (road jersey) and offensive tackle Pat Harlow (home jersey). Coach Bill (Howard Hughes) Parcells even emerged from his Foxboro bunker and actually commented on the football team, albeit briefly.
