WITH HIS performance art company the Hittite Empire, Keith Antar
Mason has been a voice for African American men for 10 years,
endeavoring to illuminate current problems and initiate dialogues in
search of solutions. But Mason's battles have steadily gotten harder;
the recently implemented "three strikes, you're out" incarceration
policy in his native California being one of the toughest. So armed
with his usual arsenal of provocative prose and sharp
characterizations, Mason created "The Undersiege Stories," on view at
Dance Place this weekend in a presentation with the Washington
Project for the Arts.
