Closing its 1993 session in a marathon session, the Massachusetts Legislature yesterday gutted a voter-approved corporate tax disclosure law, passed the first housing bond package in seven years, and overrode several of Gov. Weld's vetoes.

Lawmakers handed Weld a victory by finally passing his long-sought truth in sentencing bill, which would tighten prison sentences by eliminating automatic good time and early parole, measures that let inmates get out before their full sentence is complete.
