Article: Don't just ask, tell boy to stop

I am in the sixth grade. This guy here keeps trying to snap my bra, and yesterday he touched me on the butt. I ask him to please cut it out, but he says, "Don't be a dork." Am I? Isn't he wrong? UNSURE

He's wrong and you're right. Perhaps he'll stop if you're more vehement. Instead of just asking him to cut it out, tell him loudly and firmly, "Stop that!" If possible, do it so other kids hear you.

Perhaps the boy mistakenly thinks you're flattered by his attention. He's wrong, and doesn't realize this is sexual harassment. If he doesn't stop when you tell him, ask a teacher what your school's policy is about sexual harassment, and how to report it. Sexual harassment is ...
