Five snowstorms ago at the beginning of January, Sepal Cafe
opened in Teele Square, Somerville, and it might be just what the
doctor ordered. Sepal (the e is pronouced the same as petal) offers
a mostly vegetarian, Middle Eastern menu whose dishes have been
updated to eliminate most of the excess fat and oil. For a cuisine
that depends upon olive oil for taste, that was a tall order.
