Now comes the hard part for Joe Smith. Doing battle with Rasheed
Wallace and Tim Duncan and the U-Conn. Huskies was nothing compared
with what he confronts now, what with Maryland's basketball season
over and done. Hey, it's only the Rest of His Life we're talking
about here. "When I was 19," his coach, Gary Williams, said late
Thursday night, "my biggest decision in life was, `Do I go to class
or not?' That was my big call. Joe's got to make the decision of a
lifetime and he's 19 years old."
