Article: Reinstated girls' relay team places 6th

The Weymouth High School girls' mile relay team, reinstated in yesterday's state indoor track championships after the team was disqualified because a runner's uniform lacked stripes, placed sixth.

Weymouth's girls' 4 x 400-meter relay team finished last in the Auerbach/MIAA state indoor track and field championships at Boston University's Commonwealth Armory track.

The sixth-place finish qualifies the town's miler team to compete in the New England track championship on March 12 at Harvard College.
