ROXBURY -- There is a look that every customer who has ever been
in a store trying to make a decision about buying something knows all
too well.
You walk in. A salesperson rushes over with commission on the
brain and eagerly answers questions until it becomes obvious that you
are not ready to buy anything. Then the
well-I've-got-other-things-to-do look rises in the salesperson's
eyes.
That doesn't happen at Boston Building Materials Cooperative,
where making sure customers walk away with the right information is
as important as making sure they walk out with the right tool.
