The North Shore Music Theater in Beverly has just announced its
40th season. The schedule is loaded with pop acts such as Anne
Murray, Jane Olivor and Tom Jones, many of whom will also play the
new Harborlights Pavilion in Boston.
The North Shore Music Theater is considered far enough away so
that promoters of Harborlights, namely the Don Law Agency, didn't
feel it posed the same competition as the South Shore Music Circus in
Cohasset, which lost many of its traditional summer acts to
Harborlights.
The 1,800-capacity North Shore Music Theater has lined up the
