The new "Bond girl" is supermodel Elle MacPherson, according to
the Daily Star in London. The newspaper said the Sports Illustrated
cover girl will be James Bond's love interest in the latest 007
movie, "Goldeneye." Pierce Brosnan is the new Bond, which, by the
way, is fine with the old Bond, actor Roger Moore. He said he was
"delighted" when he heard the news, and called Brosnan to
congratulate him. Moore, 65, who was speaking in New Orleans (where
was doing work for UNICEF), played Agent 007 in seven films. He just
finished shooting "The Man Who Wouldn't Die," and he will begin "The
Quest" with Jean-Claude Van ...
