Article: Julie Harris: a Williamstown `Exile'

Not many actresses appear in a tryout that's completely sold out three weeks before its scheduled opening. But such is Julie Harris who, next week, makes her debut at the Wlliamstown Theatre Festival in "Exile in Jerusalem," a two-act, two-character play she hopes will tour and eventually reach off-Broadway. Originally written in Hebrew by Motti Lerner and performed at the Habima National Theatre in Tel Aviv five years ago under the title "Else," "Exile" has had performances in London in 1992 at the National and in Detroit last year at the Jewish Ensemble Theatre.
