SWISH: Spike Lee can leave his Nikes on for his next project. He'll executive-produce and maybe direct a dramatized version of "Hoop Dreams," the Sundance Festival's hit documentary about two inner-city Chicagoans shooting for NBA careers. The documentary by Steve James, Peter Gilbert and Fred Marx goes into wide release in October, following its Boston Film Festival showing in September.
