"Radioland Murders" should have been a killer movie. Instead,
it's a stiff. The background -- opening night at a new radio station
in Chicago in 1939 -- is great. The trouble is that there's nothing
in the foreground except a lame murder mystery. People keep getting
bumped off, phantom-of-the-opera-style, as everyone stumbles through ...
