The prolific author of the controversial "The Naked Ape" is at it
again, treating us just like the animals he says we are. Now,
however, British zoologist Desmond Morris is doing it for television,
submitting humans to the kind of field studies traditionally used for
observing furry, finned or flying creatures.
With a third of the new six-part series, "The Human Animal: A
Personal View of the Human Species," under my belt, let me say this:
