Article: Sidelined by a syndrome? See Dee Dee

EVERYBODY SEEMS TO BE suffering from a syndrome these days, including Dee Dee, our all-purpose advice columnist, who for years has been afflicted by a condition only recently recognized: Attention Deficit Syndrome.

It should come as no surprise to Dee Dee's regular readers that ADS is characterized by a pathological craving for attention. Dee Dee would like to point out that ADS should not be confused with ADD, Attention Deficit Disorder, long linked to hyperactivity in children and more recently acknowledged as afflicting adults, some of whom seem to be blaming it for everything from choosing the wrong shade of pantyhose to voting for Bill Clinton in the last election.
