You don't really have to understand Spanish to realize something
exciting is going on when Bobby Serrano and Hector Martinez cover a
Red Sox game for the six-station radio network that has WROL (950) as
its flagship.
Serrano, who lives in Boston's South End, handles play-by-play
chores and Martinez, who resides in the Back Bay, does the color
commentary.
This is the sixth year they've been describing the action at
Fenway Park (only Red Sox weeknight home games are broadcast). WCCM
(880) in Lawrence, WACE (730) in Springfield, WXCT (1220) in New
Haven, WCRN (830) in Worcester and WLVP (1140) in Hartford are also
on the hookup, with WCRN joining up this season.
