PROVIDENCE -- We all know women like Susan Miller. We all know
women who found the lump, made the appointment, took the test. We
all know women who got the call after the biopsy, hung up the phone
and looked limply in the mirror.
The words echo: "It's positive."
Miller heard those words in 1980, and in her one-woman show, "My
Left Breast," she turns her terrifying brush with breast cancer into
an instruction manual for modern life. With self-effacing humor and
gut-wrenching honesty, she weaves a tale of personal loss ...
