Jack Kerouac made his reputation in the 1950s with "On the Road,"
the ultimate road book. Now his fans can sample some of his works,
as well as see video clips of Kerouac, his friends, companions and
critics on a CD-ROM called "A Jack Kerouac ROMnibus."
All the CD's graphical work was done by free-lance designer Fran
Forman of Watertown, who worked on the CD for two years. The CD,
which came out in November, was developed by Penguin Electric of New
York with Mind and Motion of North Carolina. It is available in
bookstores.
