Article: Boston office market continues to be strong

Vacancy rates in the Boston office market continued to decline in the third quarter and were at a 12-year low in the Central Business District, according to a survey conducted by Cushman & Wakefield of Massachusetts Inc.

The Greater Boston market vacancy rate dropped to 7.3 percent in the third quarter from 8.1 percent in the second quarter. The Central District rate fell to 7.4 percent from 8 percent the previous quarter while the vacancy rate outside the Central District fell to 7.2 percent compared to 8.2 percent in the previous quarter.
