MANCHESTER -- Governor Jeanne Shaheen accompanied US Commerce
Secretary William Daley on a visit to the Canadian provinces of
Quebec and Ontario this month and sung the state's praises. In
October, when she journeys to Ireland and England with a contingent
of business executives, she will become the first New Hampshire
governor ever to conduct a trade mission outside of North America.
So what does New Hampshire have to sell? And why is its governor
taking to the road to peddle its wares? In some ways, such trips are
a polite way of saying, "Give us your money."
