NEEDS TO KNOW
Sexually healthy adolescents realize that many of the messages
about sex in the popular media are exaggerated, if not out-and-out
lies. They don't believe everything they read or hear about it.
They are mature and have enough self-esteem to resist peer pressure
for unwise sexual behavior.
Sexually healthy adolescents are not sexist. And they won't bully
or harass other kids into having sex. They do not confuse sex with
love. They don't use sex to gain favors, to be popular, or to try to
act "grown-up."
