It took the Stone Bridge offense four games to find its groove, but the Bulldogs exploded at the right time.

Stone Bridge made a fantastic first impression in its AAA Liberty District debut Friday night, scoring seven touchdowns and piling up 551 yards of offense in a 49-20 win over Jefferson at home. The Bulldogs, who averaged 14.7 points a game before Friday, ran their offense the way they knew they could.

"We got back to basic Stone Bridge offense -- just running the ball, trying to power it and using a little misdirection," senior running back Shamar Knight-Justice said. "That's what we do best, and that's why we were successful."
