Article: 2D CAR PLUNGES INTO RIVER IN LYNN

Barely 24 hours after a car rolled down a steep embankment into the Saugus River in Lynn, nearly drowning three Malden men, another car plunged into the icy water early yesterday from the same cliffside parking lot.

No one was hurt in the second incident, in which the car nose-dived into the river, Lynn Detective Mark Lee said.

In the first incident, Lee and others rescued Rocco Puzzo, 29, Bryan Straccia, 22, and Michael Vetre, 27, in the wee hours of Saturday morning as they struggled from their submerged car.
