Partnership will construct 3 hotels in Massachusetts

National Development of New England has launched a $30 million venture that will build three upscale hotels in Massachusetts.

The facilities will be built at 9/90 Corporate Center in Framingham, MetroNorth Corporate Center in Woburn and Lake Williams Corporate Center in Marlborough.

National Development, based in Newton, will build the properties in partnership with Gatehouse Capital Corp. and Starwood Hotels and Worldwide Resorts Inc. The Framingham hotel will include 125 rooms and the hotel in Woburn will have 114 rooms. Both are scheduled to open in 1999. The third hotel, in Marlborough, is under agreement.
