Elmo F. Masucci, 74, a physician who served as the assistant chief
of neurology services at the Veterans Administration Hospital in
Washington from 1959 to 1986, died of liver cancer Aug. 5 at home in
Chevy Chase.
Dr. Masucci also was a former professor of neurology at Georgetown
University medical school, where for more than 20 years he
participated in the training of residents.
He was author of 30 publications related to neurology and former
chairman of the section of neurology and neurosurgery of the D.C.
Medical Society. From 1986 to 1989, he was a consultant in neurology
at the VA hospital.
Dr. Masucci was born in Scranton, Pa. He was a graduate of the
