Clarence H. "Henry" Broley, a consultant for Arthur D. Little
Inc., died Wednesday of cancer in hisWashington, D.C., home. He was
74.
Mr. Broley was born in Greenville, R.I.
After graduating from high school, he was drafted by the
Cincinnati Reds organization, but World War II cut his baseball
career short. He enlisted in the Navy and served in the Pacific as a
pilot.
After the war, he attended Dartmouth College. He was called back
into service during the Korean War, but was sent home from Korea
after passage of the Sole Survivor's Act.
