Article: Pediatrician Robert Hunt Dies at Age 75

Robert Clarence Hunt, 75, a retired pediatrician who had a practice in Falls Church since the 1950s, died from congestive heart failure Aug. 11 at his son's home in Herndon.

Dr. Hunt, who moved to Herndon this year, had lived in Falls Church since he started his medical practice in 1951. He retired last August.

Dr. Hunt, a Washington native, graduated from Eastern Senior High School, Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Md., and George Washington University medical school.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for five years, beginning in 1946. After his service in the military, he moved to Falls Church and was a general practitioner until 1955. He then completed a two-year residency at ...
