Nomar doesn't need a tissue box, so why should you?
Making the All-Star team is not exactly high on the list of Nomar
Garciaparra priorities. "I really don't care," he insists. "It
doesn't bother me at all."
Now if Player X or Player Y were to say that, it would definitely
be eye-rolling time. Most players care very much, even if they
pretend otherwise. Most players can quickly switch from being
something resembling a regular guy to what we can refer to as their
Act. Not Nomar.
