Article: `Godzilla' is mechanical and dull; `Wild Man Blues' a sad look at Allen

NEW RELEASES: "Godzilla" -- The lead-footed remake of the cheesy Japanese original features superior technology and little else. Humorless and dull. The performances are as mechanical as the monster. The only redeeming quality is that the failure of "Godzilla" to generate profits on the big screen temporarily might slow down Hollywood's rush to remake high-tech trash.
