Julie Harris recreates her Tony-nominated role in the North
American television premiere of "Lucifer's Child" airing Thursday at
9 p.m. on "A&E Stage."
This one-woman show about Danish author Isak Dineson brings to
life the writer's adventures in Africa, her intense love affairs, and
her consummate writing. Dineson's real name was Baroness Karen
Blixen.
In this two-hour production, Harris is joined by Tony Abetamarco,
who directed her in this play on Broadway. The complex portrayal of
this author, who also wrote "Out of Africa" and "Babette's Feast," is
one that requires most of Harris's many acting talents.
The show, which repeats at 1 a.m., was co-produced by ICAP
