Itend to forget Tedfords is there, tucked round the corner away
from the city centre, and close to the big blue fish statue on
Donegall Quay, alongside the Lagan.
Built around 1843, this attractive building is rich in maritime
history and lived a former life as a ship chandler business.
Nowadays it provides scrumptious food for passers-by, whether
seafarers or not. Once promoted as a fish restaurant, it has since
broadened its repertoire, though unsurprisingly freshly caught fish
still feature strongly on the menu under the supervision of chef and
proprietor Alan Foster.
