Article: Fenway Park: It's a national treasure

Red Sox management maintains that Fenway Park must be replaced with a new stadium because it is not economically feasible to expand the present stadium. Such unsupported generalizations by the Red Sox in their own self-interest cannot be the basis for the destruction of a national treasure and a beloved Boston landmark.

Boston has an opportunity to do something marvelous and unique. The mayor's Boston 2000 process has been seeking an emblem for the city for the next century.
